Online is the new way to learn, our virtual classroom enables you to study for your Level 1 Health and Safety for Construction from the comfort of your own home. You will still have face to face contact with the tutor, and be able to ask questions and clarify understanding.

Our Level 1 Award in Health and Safety for  Construction allows learners to gain the necessary knowledge and skills to enable them to work safely in the construction environment and to support their application for a CSCS card.

This training is designed for learners with no prior experience, or for more experienced people who want to refresh their Health and Safety for Construction knowledge.

Delivered in the comfort of your own home over two mornings or a full day, plus supported self-study and assessment.

How do I enrol on the course?
Our team will contact you at a convenient time via Zoom Meetings to take you through the enrolment process. Conducting this session using Zoom also allows us to ascertain that your computer equipment is capable of running the classroom sessions.

During the enrolment session, our team must establish your identity; for this, you will be required to provide electronic copies of your identification.


Does this course allow me to apply for a CSCS card

The Level 1 Award in Health and Safety for Construction is part one of the application process, you must achieve this qualification and then attend a CITB approved testing centre to sit an external Health Safety and Environment (HS&E) test. Once you have achieved both, then you can apply for your CSCS card. To find an approved CITB centre or to book your test please follow this link 

To participate in this course, learners must be;
-16 years old at the point of enrolment.

Prior Qualifications/Learning
No prior qualifications are required to join this programme.
This course is an entry-level qualification but has strict language requirements.

Language Requirements
Learners are required to be able to speak, read and write clearly in English. Initial assessments scores must be Entry Level 2 or above (ideally Entry Level 3) anyone scoring below Entry Level 3 will unfortunately not be able to sit this course.

Identification Requirements
The learner will be required to show the tutor identification, this should be available for inspection prior to the course commencing.

Speakers and a microphone – built-in or USB plug-in or wireless Bluetooth
A webcam or HD webcam – built-in or USB plug-in
